Loose teeth, looms and leading the way

Been a long day today.  Lots to do.  Alex and Max worked.  Max has a steady job and since Alex is homeschooled, he can work here and there with odd yard type jobs but agreement is he has to do his work first.  And this was yesterday and I never finished the post.  Figures.  Here goes.

Summer got four teeth pulled at the dentist the other day.  2 had the longest roots I had ever seen on a baby tooth.  There's no way they would have come out on their own. Plus, we'd waited long enough and they never budged.  She did great.

Tooth pillow broke.  Binder clip held it together so that stupid tooth fairy mouse could still come.  don't even ask about the mouse.  It's the reason we have to leave windows open at night in the dead of winter for a tooth fairy mouse story that Irina told years ago from Russia.  I have NEVER heard of another Russian kid and a tooth fairy mouse.  Been an experience all these years and we still have to open the windows.

Nik loved this activity.  He could do crafts all day long if you let him.

Working hard.  NOtice yet another naked doll in the picture.  i promise our baby dolls have clothes.

Little Guy taking the lead.  Max was leading him around the house but then Little Guy started walking ahead of him.  Too cute.  We have therapy every night.  Made it into our chore routine.  Each of the older kids work w/ the younger ones that do therapy....Little Guy, Sofie, Summer and Nik.  PT/ OT/ Speech/ Reading.  I think it helps with things.  In more than one way.  Receivers of the therapy are not the only ones benefiting.

  1. Yikes! Good thing you left it to the dentist to pull out those long-rooted teeth. And she didn’t even budge the whole procedure? Wow, you should be proud of raising this brave and adorable girl. Cheers!
