Blessings Abound

Haven't done one of these posts in awhile and truly it is time.  We are truly thankful for the people we have met over the years through this adoption journey. They have blessed us more than we could have ever imagined. Friendships have been formed, connections made, etc.  Wonderful.  From time to time though, we are blessed by gifts.  I just thought it was time to share a few of these generous gifts.

A dear friend delivered a tent to us the other day.  Obviously, this will get a lot of use over the next few years as we love to travel with the kids.  Half of us sleep in the tent, half in the RV.  Well, last trip, our tent finally had had enough.  It is toast with no way to repair it.  By giving us a brand new tent, we are now able to take the money we were going to spend on one and instead get the older kids the portable air conditioner that they really do need in the summer time when camping.  Thanks a bunch for your generous heart Linden!  It will be loved for years to come.

The other day, the realtor came by for us to sign papers.  Her mom brought all sorts of goodies and blessed our family with such awesome food.   Chicken noodle soup that is homemade tastes so good when not feeling well.  They polished it all off!  Here is Summer taste testing some goodies.

OMG!  The best soup ever!!!  It is a secret family recipe though and well, I can't make it so just means I get to enjoy it more when someone else makes it for me :)  This was gone that evening.  As was the chilli.

I will say she makes such wonderful desserts.  Cracked me up when the kids bit into these and were expecting peanut butter.  Instead, there are bananas inside.  LOL.  Still delicious though!  Big thanks to Ms. Cathy for making our week.  Our kids call her Mimi.  It was the best pick me up this week after people being so sick.

The other day, we received a package in the mail.

Kids were excited and ready to open it right then and there.

IRina and I started pulling out dress after handmade dress!

There were dresses of all styles and colors.  Beautifully handmade.  Once Nik realized it was not food, he was out of there.  There were even shirts for Alyona and Reni!  I can not wait to take some pictures of them all in their dresses.

I think she was most content with this one, don't you?!  Big huge thank you to Jennifer for blessing our family.  To take the time and love to make these was just from a very kind heart.

Those were just a few of the ways our family has been blessed over the last few weeks.
