Digby, Dentist and daunting task

Yesterday was hopping and really had no time to write.  Took Digby to the groomers. Finally.  dog has a more regal look now.  Just beautiful and truly, he needed a good grooming.  He was past just give him a bath stage.  Alaska is much easier to throw in the tub and her hair is different.  Very low maintenance dog.  Digby, seems whether we brush him often or not, it tends to mat and not sure why.  He's healthy, sees a vet regularly but I always forget to ask her the hair question.  Groomer got a bag full off Digby.  He is fresh, soft, smells good, and looks fantastic.  Though another dog attacked him as he first came in, the owner and I stopped it fairly quickly.  Good thing too as Digby would have won that one on size alone.  LOL.  She said he did great but was a very nervous dog. I then explained how he was a rescue and once he gets comfortable with you, he won't be nervous any more.  Alaska missed him like crazy yesterday.

Dentist.  Took 5 kids to the dentist yesterday.  Irina, Max, Bojan, Alex, and Nik.  None had cavities.  Girls and I still don't see how that's possible but we'll take it.  Some of our boys, not all mind you, are slacking on the brushing department.  Yet all seem never to end up with cavities.  Hey, do what works I suppose.  Max has room for all four of the wisdom teeth to come in.  Irina's wisdom tooth pulled healed up nicely and well, everything was smooth and great.  in and out in about an hour's time.  Headed home, dropped kids off and left to go pick up Diggs.  Came home and speech therapist was working with the kids.  Made stuffed peppers and tried to get things done from a day that hadn't ended since the morning.  Lots of errand running in the morning yesterday too.

Daunting task you ask.  Photos.  I have tons of them.  And I mean tons.  Let me tell you what happened.  YEARS ago, we left for Serbia.  Told them to NOT go through any photos.  see, I had spent at that time approximately three months or more organizing, sorting, writing on them, etc.  Had all ready to go in albums just about.  Left out of the country for two weeks.  Just twelve days actually.  In that time, they destroyed everything I had done.  I was so mad and to this day can't look at that storage bin FULL of photos without getting aggrevated.  Years later!  This isn't a little storage bin folks.  It's one of those big one.  We are talking thousands of pictures.  Now, in addition, I have a pile on the computer that we are going to convert to CD by year and make one for every kid.  Or, that's my goal.  In addition, all the photo frames ALEX has broken (& yes it is him and yes, I did call him out) from playing ball in the house are being fixed up and replaced.  I worked on some last night with Max.  It will be an ongoing project.  This giant photo task is daunting but truly does need to be done.

Today, we finally get to stay home almost all day.  Tomorrow we're going to an Arbor Day Celebration and Alyona will learn more about trees.  Plus, free trees is a nice perk.  Picnic lunch in the park afterwards.  Can't beat it.  Tonight, soccer games for Alex and Logan.  More posts and pictures to come.  Just been living life lately and this week is fast paced.  Plus, seems like pollen is starting to come out.  My aching head.
