Join us this year as we travel to Bulgaria to bring 3 children home to make our forever family complete. We look forward to what the future will hold for the dozen of us as a family. We are taking the road less travelled and it has many beautiful twists & turns along the way. Join us as we discover them together on this amazing journey to bring 3 children from an orphanage and make them forever part of the Boyd Bunch.

Nik's drawings & makings
Time for an all in one post....drawings and makings. Nik has still been drawing. Next time I'll show you his speech therapy cards. Yikes! Anyhow, the other day I found a drawing he started but crumbled up and put in the trash. I pulled it out of course. It was his first attempt at drawing a church. He didn't like it but I wanted a keepsake kind of. So, that's why the paper is all crumbled.
Nik drew a church with a swing set outside.
A closer look inside the windows and there are two crosses. Also, one on the roof. I think this was a really rush job and that's why he crumbled it up. Nik is very much the perfectionist in his drawings.
A closer look at the swing set. Hey, the kid is smiling in this one! LOL.
Hoping to get some more posts done but first must check some email and work on some papers. We have soccer tomorrow evening. Kids and I may do a few errands in the morning though. Wednesday is the busy day where all the kids have checkups. Well, not all. Only 5 of them on Wednesday. 2 were last week. 3 new ones don't go till December. Not bad. I've lucked out w/ some seriously healthy kids. Oh, please don't let me have just jinxed that. Not counting surgeries, I think we've only ever had one broken bone in this house. Max last year. Not too bad a record I do believe. Now, don't put that against all the other dx's. I'm just glad were not at the doc too much. Specialists, well, that's another story.
