Reni's birthday

The other day I told you about Reni's 10th birthday.  Her first one in America.  It's time to show you a few pictures from it.

I'm not sure who was more excited...Reni or Alyona.  Daddy brought Reni home some birthday balloons after work.  Reni was really upset when Yana ruined one of them on purpose.  She owes her a balloon.  Trust me, Reni won't forget it.

Reni requested I make a cake w/ pink icing.  So, I did.  She did not want to let go of her balloons.

Waiting for the candles to be put on.  I had no idea we were out of candles. We were scrambling to literally piece together ten candles.  Needless to say, we bought some more this past weekend.

Reni, wondering what is in her bag.

Getting excited.

Bojan gladly read the birthday card to his sister who is still learning English.  And learning how to read her siblings' writing.

Reni, opening her gift.

Reni, very excited she got an mp-3 player to replace her broken one.  My kids love, love, love listening to music.

All in all, Reni had a good day and enjoyed it.  We get a break from birthdays for a little while thank goodness.  Next birthday is Alyona's on June 27th.  Then we have b-days in June, July, August, September, October and then December.  Phew.  Lots of cakes made.  LOL.  Much more to come as we did a lot this past Easter Weekend.  We have a very busy week ahead of us.
