How to entertain 15 kids

Well, one day last week I had my kids, the "littles" and some friends of my kids.  This was my wicked sinus infection headache day as well.  Same day as I had to clean out mud covered implants.  So, was trying hard to find something for all to do at once.  Went to the pantry and found my stash.  Of sparklers that is.

Max helping to light sparklers for everyone.

Bojan assisting Max.  He was not happy when I told him he was too young to play w/ fire.  Trust me, he's not responsible quite yet for a lighter.

Alex at a stand still.  It really is hard to catch him not in motion.  he was running all over the yard w/ everyone.

Umm, I think Max is getting a little carried away with lighting the sparklers.

Isn't she beautiful?  I just wish she'd get rid of that fake goofy smile.  She can smile.  Just she is in that fake smile stage every kid seems to go through.

Nik, looking at the action.  Taking a break to ride the scooter.  No idea who's gloves those are.  None of our kids.  We actually have a collection of other kids' clothing that stays by the front door.  When they come over, we give back the laundry.  LOL  For now though, keeping him warm.

More pics to come to catch up on all the Christmas' we had.  For now, need to go help the kids.  Warren & Max are still hooking up cables.

Flabulous to Fabulous & bits & pieces

It is Friday.  I must admit, I have been horrible about this post every Friday.  Mainly b/c I'm too ashamed to admit I have not been doing what I'm supposed to be doing as far as exercise & eating right goes for the past month.  I could use the excuse of the holidays but shouldn't.  Shouldn't matter what time it is.  So, this post is to get myself back in gear & on track.

It is the start of a New Year and I want a new start to my new life.  So, I started yesterday.  How?  I needed to lighten my load and de- clutter my life.  I have started in the master & am working my way around the downstairs.  I'm on the dining room & moving to the kitchen next.  It is so refreshing to find stuff you were missing or find some old sentimental notes.  I found a letter written by my friend Beth in high school.  Found  a letter about a fishing trip Bojan took w/ his grandfather.  I gave it to him when we celebrated Christmas on Wednesday this week.  More on that later.  Told you, I'm behind on everything right now.  Anyhow, it has been great getting rid of stuff, selling stuff & finding stuff.  It feels invigorating in a way too.  Can't explain it, but it does.  Really, it does.

I am also making a health plan up for myself this New Year.  What goals I have, exercise & eating changes, etc.  I want to really dig deep & do this.  I have more motivation now than I ever did before.  I seriously want to be 20 lbs. lighter when I meet my new kids.  I used to be the peak of fitness & health in college.  Now, before you say, really?  Let me explain.  My major was Health & Fitness Specialist w/ a concentration in Cardiopulmonary rehab.  Mouthful, I know.  I helped to train athletes.  The football players would get mad when I made them take aerobics.  LOL.  As a part of this program, we had to have our fat measured weekly.  I rode countless miles on my bike everyday to & from work.  I walked everywhere I couldn't ride.  I swam for fun everyday.  I had to eat a minimum of 5 full meals a day to keep up w/ my caloric output.  I LOVED the life I was living at the time.  I want to get back to that life.  Riding and enjoying the scenery.  I used to make excuses that I'm working, or have to get the kids ready for school.  Yeh, so what?  What if I have kids?  So do millions of other mothers who work out.  I just have to find the time and get creative.

I have come up w/ a plan.  I'm getting up 30 minutes earlier and going for a walk everyday.  Except in the rain.  I really do hate walking in the rain or biking in the rain.  Sorry, just me.  I plan on takign the littles for a mid-day walk everyday.  I also plan to work in the outdoor challenge w/ them on the Wii on rainy days.  Believe it or not, it's a workout.  Weight lifting everyday & stretching will also play a part.  In addition, Warren has agreed from 7:30 to 8:00 every night, I will do cardio.  I will work on the food.  My weakness is chocolate.  Always has been even when I was at my peak of fitness.

This is New Year's Eve where many empty resolutions are made.  This is NOT a resolution but a lifestyle change I'm making.  I'm ready.  I NEED this.  My life needs to change.  It will only better my quality time w/ my kids.  Yes, I play w/ them now but know I could do more.  I want to take them on more hikes.  I want to be able to bike w/ some of them.   Just want to have some more fun and really live life to it's fullest.  I know now is the time.  I was doing really well for awhile.  Well, a light bulb finally went off inside of me.  And if I can fit all this into my life, I'll be dog gone if the rest of America can't do it.  Shoot, my life is chaotic.  I need the stability of a workout.  I used to do it and feel so much more at ease when there was a stressor that arose.  Say, a RAD rage or an FAS meltdown.    With 10 special needs kids with a variety of needs, they need a stable mom.  Yes, I'm mentally stable but I want to be at my best so I can give them my best.  I want to look forward to jumping out of bed & going outside for a walk every morning.  It really does help put a whole new perspective on a day.  Especially me, since I'm surrounded by kids all day long and at home all day long.  Well, okay, so I'm out & about too.  But, with 4 toddlers during the day & 7 for the afternoon & onward, it can suck the life out of you some days.  I need to take my life back.  So, I'm reorganizing my life.  Not just exercise & diet but everything.  Making sure checks are made out, emails are returned(okay, so that make take time), old stuff is thrown out, my kids don't look like riff raff when going to school, & many other things.  I know this will all take some time.  But, I also know me.  I know if I do this for two weeks w/ no breaks, it becomes a habit.  Actually, that has been scientifically proven btw.

So, be ready for reports every Friday from here on out.  I gained weight over the last month & actually lost a few of those pounds this week.  This is my time to refresh, renew & recharge!  I'm ready.  Really, really ready.  I want to run w/ my puppies again.  I used to run w/ Aspen.  I want to run a 5K this spring.  I know that is not much for some folks on here who run all the time.  However, for me it would be just a huge accomplishment.  Who knows what I can do.  All I know is it has to start w/ the first step & I have to be accountable for me.  Next week, I can't wait to tell you what I've done & how much I lost!  This is going to be the at home version of the Biggest Loser.  I'm dying for one of those Wii Fit boards but that will have to wait.  Kids must get home first.  However, I have a whole neighborhood to walk & explore and trails to hike locally.  Can't wait.  So, if you see me crawling to my house, can you please just pick me up & tell me I can do it.  I know I'll have days of doubt.  It will take a lot to get back to my college days of living.  Alright, so not all my ways of living.  -- just the healthy part of it.

Happy New Year to all!  Warren is downstairs installing a blu-ray player and getting rid of lots of old equipment.  Most of our equipment is at least 10 years old.  We try to keep everything till it dies.  Well, a few months ago some things have died.  And, since we don't have cable or netflix or the like, we do watch movies here.  So, the deals are crazy now w/ electronics and we recently received some Christmas cash from one of our relatives.  Typically, we've put all money towards the adoption for the last year.  So, decided this time the family can use this.  Kids are excited.  Oh, in case any of you are wondering why or how we got so many movies & it must have been expensive...think again.  I used to work at Blockbuster.  Enough said.  LOL.  Anyhow, we found a blu-ray/ home theater system at Sam's.  Nik used to love when we had the previous sound system and we haven't had it for months.  Should be very interesting for him when we turn it on.  He'll really be able to localize the sound.  He's getting very good at that w/ his second implant.  This blu-ray also plays regular dvd's.  So, trying to find someone who wants to tinker w/ a broken dvd player and broken home theater system.  VCR actually still works & we'll try to sell that one.

Kids went today & spent some of the Christmas money they'd received.  I also was able to pick up some teacher gifts for next year & a box of cards.  Irina is having her friend over for her birthday.  She'll be here tomorrow.  I'm taking some of the kids shopping tomorrow.  Shoot me now.  Hoping not to take all of them.  Bojan & Max will be doing wall repair in their room.  Also, prepping it for painting.  Well, we're all quiet here for New Year's.  We may do a few sparklers but nothing huge.  After a big Christmas and all the shopping & going places lately, we try to make New Years' very low key for our kids.  Kick back & watch a movie.  Stay safe & pictures again in a later post.

Puppy Pictures in the snow

Thought it was time to share a few puppy pics.  There will be more of Kota simply b/c Alaska got scared the first few times she was out.  And, that is when I had the camera.  She was plenty fine w/ it later on and I couldn't get either puppy inside.  Hope you enjoy.

I think he should be on a postcard.  Isn't he adorable?!  Love this picture.

Nothing like a winter wonderland for a retriever.  He was in heaven.  Here he is watching the neighbor's dog whom he met for the first time.  She is a very, very playful boxer.  Kota wasn't quite sure about playing w/ her yet.

Doesn't she look like a little wolf attacking him?  LOL.  He had pinned her in the snow.  They played like this for quite some time.

One of Ms. Alaska.  Once she got used to the snow, she didn't want to get out of it.  She liked it better the second day when the sun was out.  Usually, her tail is curled up.  She is such a sweetheart.

I know, not the best picture but thought it was cute.  Covered in snow, Alaska had had enough of it.  Umm, yes, I'm a little behind at this house with fall decorations welcoming you at the front door.  Oh well.  I'm early for next year.  Pups had tons of fun in the snow.  We all love snow here.  We really do.

More posts to come.  Busy day again today.  Bojan had his check socket done today.  Amazing this kid can even walk. Wished I'd taken the camera in to show you the difference.  Astounding how much he grew.  Really is.  He picked out dogs as his fabric for his socket.  They'll check it one more time.  He's even getting an adult knee!  Wow!  Growing up way too fast.  We donated some of his old legs today.  Kept the old sockets.  All other parts donated.  Glad someone can use them.  It was part of my de-cluttering lately.  Much more to come.  Finger print appointment soon.  Got notification today but no date.  Date forthcoming.  Hurry up and wait.  The motto for adoption.

Mom & Dad's Christmas

Today, I'm going to have to do a few catch up posts as I am beyond way behind.  We are trying to play catch up this week as I'm off work & so is Warren.  Getting all kinds of appointments done.  In addition, I have decided to refresh and renew my life.  More on that later but I am starting with de-cluttering this house.  Majorly.  I am literally starting at one end of the house & working my way around.  This also is allowing us to find stuff to sell to help raise some much needed funds.  Another post just regarding adoption expenses & a little of what is happening with all that.  It is a long, long story.  Anyhow, I'm playing catch up in many areas and one of them is this blog.  I had hoped to have a new look up by now but let's just say life got in the way.  The kids have been out of sorts and trying to getting them "normalized" again.  Something traumatized Alaska last night so badly that she slept in our bed all night long.  In addition, she didn't want to leave the porch.  She is much better today but something spooked her big time.

Thought I'd play catch up and give a little re-cap from Christmas.  Warren & I usually don't buy presents for each other as 1) we feel it's for the kids and 2) money is way too tight.  Well, the kids were very adament about us giving each other gifts.  So, we promised to make them inexpensive gifts.

Nothing like some great smelling shampoo & body wash to get you started in the morning.  Wakes me up.  Got to admit, Dove does make some great smelling shampoos and soaps.

I used to collect teddy bears.  Mostly Biolosky & North American Bear Co.  When you have kids, you make sacrifices.  I obviously quit collecting bears but still love to look.  Had always wanted one of the Raikes Bears.  Well, got a little elf one!  Kids love him & so do I.

Okay, so not the same as flying but as close as he's going to get.  LOL.  Warren has a pilot's license and used to fly.  LOVED to fly.  Again, you make sacrifices for your kids.  He hasn't flown since we've had kids.  Umm, a bit expensive to fly for those who don't know.  Around a $100 to $150 a hour I think he told me.  So, thought he'd like a remote controlled helicopter.  He did.  As did the dogs and the kids.

The kids would NOT let me leave TJMaxx w/out them buying this for Dad.  They told me it was from Kota and Alaska to daddy.  It is a really cool mug.  Sorry for the glare.  That plastic on the windows is rather reflective.  LOL.

The kids know Warren and coffee.  We splurged and got him the "good stuff."  Usually, it's Folgers which he likes.  Even got the beans so the kids could grind them b/c they think it's fun.  Warren however, does not think it's fun.  LOL.

Just thought I'd share a quick glimpse of what we received from each other.  There are many more pictures to come.  I will eventually get caught up.  Getting ready to go make homemade pizzas for dinner.  Yum.  Try to do some more posts this evening.  Going to make some scarves with the kiddos first.  Got to run.

Faces of winter

Been a busy day & still is.  Nik had his audiology appt. & did very well.  We feel the trouble w/ his ear must of been a combo of things.  We think he must have had fluid in his ears or an infection at some point to cause the pain.  The back up processor on him is working fine now & he says it doesn't hurt any more and is fixed.  Relief for sure!  They are sending back some stuff to AB to check so that is good.  After that, I went to pay a bill but forgot my check book.  Duh.  Went to Sam's to shop & it was closed until 10am.  Came on home & then we headed back out again.  Been errand running all day long.  Figured I needed a small break so came up here to post some of my kiddos.  Hope you enjoy.

She is precious isn't she??  I think this is a very cute one of Alyona even if it's not really a smile.  Wind was blowing so lucky we got the picture.  She used to live in Murmansk, Russia.  On permafrost.  Above the Arctic Circle.  It was COLD.  I think she can handle the snow here.  LOL.

The birthday girl herself.  Irina used to live in Abdulina, Russia.  (Orenburg region).  In her area, they always had doors on the second story.  We were told it was so they could get out in winter.  Gas lines & all pipes were above the ground.  So she too can tolerate the cold.

This is Alex.  Yes, he too was part of the idiot club who stuck their faces in the snow.  My boys would do almost anything I think on a dare.

Ah, two faces in one shot.  This is me (sans make-up) and Kota.  Kota was beyond thrilled with the snow.  He is such a playful pup.  We love him to pieces.  It was really cold this day.

Those are a few of the faces of winter here.  I have more to say and tell but for now, need to get some things picked up a bit.  Social worker is coming by in a bit to drop off papers for Irina.  We made the deadline.  Wahoo!!!  Warren and Max are out paying that bill that I earlier forgot my checkbook for.  And, Max may attempt to spend his Best Buy gift card today.  Not sure what he'll get or if he'll combine it w/ some of his work money.  We'll see.  Need to get things together for tomorrow.  We're going to Warren's parents' house for Christmas.  Kids are looking forward to it.  Some have asked to take their Snuggies in the car.  Maybe we should just be the spokes family for these silly things.  LOL.  I really have never seen kids take to something like Snuggies.  I'll let everyone know how it was tomorrow evening.  Thursday we only have Bojan's prosthetic appointment thank goodness.  We plan on doing lots of work on the house this weekend.  Have a great evening and more later.

Manic Monday

It hasn't been quite manic but at times, close to it.  1 RADish acting up and 2 FAS meltdowns is not the best part of my day but it's not all bad.  For those new here, when you have children with RAD, FAS, for the most part, you can expect meltdowns and such from time to time.  Doesn't happen to everyone but from other parents I've spoken to & our own experience over the years, it does indeed happen.  Over stimulation some times will bring that on and let's face it, the holiday season is one big event of stimulation & sensory overload.  Anyhow, we're past it now and have moved on.

We have a busy week ahead.  On Wednesday, we're going to Warren's parents' house.  Should be lots of fun and kids are looking forward to it.  Have to re-bag some of the presents that pups have torn open.

We took Alaska & Kota to the vet. Both tested positive for roundworms.  URGHH!!!  Last time, only Alaska tested positive.  Vet said this is common for puppies and there were very few worms in there so the de-wormer is working for sure.  Alaska also has puppy pyaderma.  Kind of like puppy eczema.  Antibiotic for her.  Lovely.  Kota has doubled in size since we got him last month.  He is now almost 21 lbs. and Alaska is 16 lbs.  Vet thinks Kota will be bigger than the "guidelines" they use.  At this point, apparently vets triple the puppy's weight & that is supposed to be what they end up.  However, she thinks he will most likely be more than that.  Probably about 80 lbs.  Alaska is going to be much smaller.  All in all, told they are healthy and good dogs.

We came home & had lunch.  Oh, before that, both dogs puked all over the car.  Appropriately nicknamed at our home, the vomit comet.  Why?  Because for some reason, numerous kids have puked in Warren's car.  Now, add two dogs to the list.  Poor guy.  He takes it all in stride.  Well, since they just puked up all the de-wormer, we had to go back to the vet to get more de-wormer.  Did that on our way to a shopping center.

My oh my.  Warren has never gone shopping for the after Christmas sales.  I thought the lady at Target was going to laugh like crazy.  She was holding it back.  It is quite obvious that Warren will never ever go shopping during this time ever again.  He has made that clear.  5 of the 7 kids had either giftcards or money to spend.  Bojan bought a Wii game.  Alex bought a Wii game & Zhu Zhu pets and still has $5 leftover.  He told me I could have it.  Irina and Yana got some clothes and still have some money left to spend.  We'll go at a later date.  I did buy a few teacher gifts for next year at TJMaxx.  And, the boys a new trash can for upstairs.  I swear that there had to be something dead in it.  Threw the whole thing out.  Gross.  Boys are so different from girls.  They really are.  My girls would never get to that point.  We saw many friends and neighbors we know & for the most part, kids were great.  They listened, didn't touch, etc.

Tomorrow, Nik has audiology.  8am.  Don't know how we'll make it out of the subdivision w/the ice but sure will try.  Stopping by bank on the way home & Sam's for some much needed supplies.  The rest of the day will be spent working on the house.

I have been organizing like crazy in here and need to do some Craigslist listings for sure.  We'll get there.  Kids are even getting organized themselves which is nice.  Should be more functioning when they get back to school.

Haven't heard back from immigration yet.  Was hoping to this week so that maybe we could go sit at the Durham office Thursday or Friday for Irina's prints.  However, if I don't get that piece of paper, I can't even make an attempt.  I really am not a patient person so this is not working for me.  I'm learning patience a lot w/ this last set of adoptions.

Alex is no longer sick.  Everyone else seems to be healthy & I'm doing much, much better than last week.  All in all, we're doing okay this Christmas break.  Looking forward to going out to lunch w/ all the kids some time this week.  We had received giftcards from my parents to either Red Lobster or Olive Garden.  They were to be used as a date night but since we can't leave our 7 home alone, it really doesn't work out too well.  So, we get to take everyone out to lunch which will be just as nice.  Can't wait.

Irina's birthday is today & Bojan's  & Warren's are on the 5th of January.  Mine is on the 16th.  Hoping January slows down a little.  Enjoy your evening.  I'll have more later as well.

Snowstorm 2010-- play day! (part II)

Can't explain how much fun we had sledding & throwing snowballs so will just have to show you in pictures.

Alex & Nik going down on a sled ride.  We are very lucky that we have a yard that is a hill down to the house & the woods.  Great place to sled & right in our own yard!  Love it.

Nik & Alex after their run down.  Nik never wears his implants when it's like this.  Too easy to lose them so we must communicate via sign.  I know some parents w/ CI kids who are more vocal choose to just use verbal communication, but for us, it is vital to know sign too.

Irina took the picture of Nik & I going down for a run.  Got to admit, it is fun.

Max coming down the hill.  You have to find just the right placement of the sleds to go the furthest.

Max was still trying to figure out placement before he crashed.  LOL.  Trust me, he got it the next time & went all the way down & almost into the creek.

Time to come in for a nice hot cocoa break.  We have tons of hot cocoa here for obvious reasons.  We had 4 extra kiddos here yesterday in addition to ours.  Was nice to have a supply on hand.  My mom had bought us these mugs last year & the kids LOVE them.  They even have little hats to go on top to keep the cocoa warm.  Top doesn't stay on long.  Marshmellow creme dripping down the handle, what could be better?  Pictures are all foggy from just coming in from the cold.

Alex & Bojan enjoying some warm hot cocoa.

Nik enjoying his cup of warm goodness.  I know it's fuzzy but look at his ear.  He has all his gear hooked up so that he can listen to his mp-3 player.  He really loves listening to music & can even bop to the beat!  A few years ago in the orphanage, he had no gift of music to listen to. So many new experiences in just a short time all b/c he was given an opportunity.   We couldn't be more grateful for that same opportunity...to become a forever family.

I do have more pictures and other things happening.  Going to go make Irina her icing for her birthday cake.  More on that in a separate post.  Enjoy your evening everyone.

Snowstorm 2010-- play day! (part I)

Now that you have seen what it looked like outside, it is time to give you an idea of what we did.  I turned on the camera and saw this picture:

Irina, sleeping like a baby.  Though she's turning 18yo tomorrow, she is still our little girl.  That's a Snuggie on top of her btw.  We then woke up all the kids.  Ones who weren't awake which was just Max & Yana.  Nik had woken us up at 6am.  Yikes!  Crazy for sure.

one shot of them all.  Love the backdrop.  Click on it to make it larger.

Slightly different but I always try & catch all of them smiling if at all possible.

I did not ask him to pose.  Just caught him in the act.  We had all just gotten outside so everyone was all smiles for sure.

I did tell them to get off this trampoline.  Alex & Nik thought it would be fun to jump in the snow, on the trampoline.  Silly boys.

I know there is a blur in some of these pics but lens was wet.  Can you guess what these two idiots are about to do??  Yes, I called my two sons idiots & the next picture will explain why quite clearly.

Yes, they did.  The epitome of stupidity at best.  The two oldest boys dared each other to stick their faces in the snow to see who could last the longest.  Can you even take a guess at who lasted longer?

I can't say that older & wiser is the best choice of words here but Max outlasted Bojan.  Both faces were bright red.  They do this w/ every snow we get.  I just think it is ridiculous.  Boys.

there are more pictures to come.  For now, I'm going to go downstairs, sit & watch a movie w/ the family.  Nice after a long day of playing in the snow.  We had omlets for dinner courtesy of Warren.  Delicious.  More tomorrow.  So much more to say.  Kids in the snow, Irina's birthday, etc.  Puppies to the vets and shopping.  That is, if the roads are clear for us to get out.  Enjoy the rest of your Christmas weekend.  For us, it could not have been better.  Okay, so it ended w/ Alex throwing up tonight but other than that, it is okay.  He doesn't have a fever so hoping it is over.  Talk more tomorrow.

Winter Wonderland

Today, the day after Christmas, we woke up to an absolutely beautiful site.  In NC, we do not get snow hardly at all, let alone 10"!  So, when it happens, you take full advantage of it.  Figured I'd show a few snow shots in this post & then the kiddo snow shots in the next post.  Hope you enjoy seeing it as much as we did.  It was simply beautiful.  Very peaceful.  Warren & I even took the puppies for a walk.  Such quiet.  Tranquility.  Oh, how I wish I could bottle it and give it to my kids.  For now, looking at it will have to do.

Our house in December of 2010.  Quite the wintery site for a change.

To the right of our home.  Everywhere you look, snow.

This is looking to the right of our driveway.  This was during the storm.  The only reason there are tire tracks is b/c we do have several emergency workers in the back of the neighborhood that must get out.  No choice.  They were needed today too.  Over 1800 accidents thus far.  Stupid people driving when really there is absolutely NO reason to.  I guarantee you that all of those were not emergencies where someone had to get to a hospital.  Crazy.  North Carolinians really can't drive in the snow.  If you transplanted this state to Montana or Minnesota & asked them to drive, we'd all crash within a week.  LOL.  So, we stayed home & admired the view instead just like Mr. Newsman said to do.

A winter wonderland for sure.  Love it.  Those who get snow all the time I'm sure are laughing at us now but it truly is a big deal here.

This was while it was still snowing out.  We got almost 11".  And, it is snowing outside right now again!  Such a treat for us at Christmas time.

Some pops of color in the snow.  Peeking out, bringing to life the feeling of Christmas in the air.  Red berries in the snow is just gorgeous.

More little pops of color peeking out of the white snow.  This is a birdhouse in the backyard.  It is just covered.

This is our backyard.  How lucky are we?!  We get to enjoy this awesome view every time it snows.  We stare out our dining room windows at the snow as we sip hot cocoa.  Just amazing.  We love it.  Okay, so Warren is not as taken a back by the snow as I am.  Maybe we can get him going w/ a good snowball fight bright & early tomorrow morning.

Many more pictures to come.  Next set will be the kids in the snow.  Just had to show you how beautiful it was today at our home.

Snuggies, snuggies, everywhere!!!

As most of you know by now, my children all wanted Snuggies for Christmas.  You know, those ridiculous blankets w/ sleeves.  Have no idea why but they did.  So, thought I'd share a few shots of all my little "snuggies."

All my kids loving their snuggies.  All the boys got the same color & the girls each got a different color.  They wear them all the time.

Another shot of them all together.  Now, they want me to get snuggies for the dogs.  And yes folks, they have Snuggies for the pooches.  I think my dogs may protest though.

Alex, very comfortable in what he called his favorite gift.  They all snuggle up in these things now.  I think it's cute.

Another happy Snuggie customer.  Do you think we can give endorsements?  LOL.  they do love these things for whatever reason.  Right now, they just came in from the snow & are wrapped up in them.
Irina let Dad even try on her snuggie.  I think I'll have to get him a different color though.

I even tried to see if one snuggie would fit us both.  I think it does.  Terrible o'dark-thirty picture I know.  It is Christmas morning so I ahve an excuse.  LOL.  These things really and truly are soft.

I think Yana is just as happy as can be w/ her Snuggie.  It was something simple but fun that they all enjoyed.  So glad we caught the Black Friday deal on them.  They really & truly are warm and cozy.  I'm tempted to want one myself!

Well, that is about it for now.  I do have more Christmas pictures.  next round will be Christmas with the puppies.  Right now, going to enjoy a movie w/ everyone.  All their friends went home.  After the movie, a walk, some organizing and then back to just relax today.  It's been awesome.  I do hope the snow pictures turn out.  Truly spectacular.  Have a wonderful week everyone!
